Quick cure for many garage door problems.

Proper lubrication of your door can save you any unnecessary repair cost. If you hear unusual noises coming from your garage door when it is operating, try a spray lubricant like WD-40 or 100% silicone. Pay special attention to directing the spray at the following door parts:

  • Door rollers (these are the wheels that your door rides up and down on in the tracks).
  • Door pulleys (there are four round pulleys - one located at the top front corner of each door track and one connected to one end of each garage door spring).
  • All hinges that allow the door sections (pieces) to bend as it travels in the door tracks.
Many door problems can be eliminated by a quick application of an aerosol spray lubricant. Please exercise caution when applying. It is suggested to wear gloves and have adequate room ventilation when using any of these products. Try to avoid any excess lubricant from dripping onto your automobile or other valuable belongings. Please remember, never, never use grease to lubricate a garage door. It only makes the door operator poorly and it’s down right messy! :)
Good luck.
